The Baby Care Room Every Parent Wishes For

Every parent knows that a trip to the mall with a baby can go from fun outing to minor crisis in exactly 0.3 seconds. Hidden away like a little parenting sanctuary is a dedicated Baby Care Room at the mall in Ponta Delgada. It’s a night and day difference compared to the usual “change your baby next to the hand-dryer” situation we all know too well. The changing area is bright, clean, and well designed. There are wide countertops, soft mats, and room to move around without knocking over a garbage can with your diaper bag (we’ve all been there). Plus, everything is tidy and well-kept, which is basically the dream when you’re juggling wipes, onesies, and a baby who suddenly becomes a ninja.

Right next to the changing area is a cozy space set up specifically for feeding. Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, pumping, or just need a private moment to soothe a fussy little one, the room gives you privacy and comfort without the feeling of being rushed.

My trips to the mall are much more enjoyable knowing I have this space available to use when Tiago is with us. It’s also located right next to the food court which is a double bonus in my book!
